Located in Redmond, Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center is home and host to some of Central Oregon’s largest events. The Deschutes County Fair & Rodeo, celebrating 99 years in 2018, takes place here every summer and delights the young and young at heart with rides, food, carnival, animals, and more. Year-round, the 132-acre site is a hotbed of concerts, home shows, holiday fairs, monster truck rallies, sporting events, and more. Beautifully manicured grass, ponds, cascading waterfall, and a windmill dot the property, which also has an unparalleled panoramic view of seven snowcapped mountain peaks that include, Mt. Bachelor, the Three Sisters, Brokentop, and Mt. Jefferson. The grounds are impeccably landscaped and can be rented for weddings, car shows, animal shows, and other outdoor events. The Expo Center also offers four conference halls, an activity center, two outdoor arenas, and multiple livestock barns. For those who want to stay close to the action, the Expo Center RV Park offers 105 RV sites and 10 tent sites that are open year-round. Pets are welcome and amenities include hook-ups, free WiFi, showers, laundry, plumbed bathrooms, picnic tables, and BBQs.
