The amount of time it takes for a heart attack patient to receive a stent once reaching St. Charles Bend – known as door-to-balloon time – is better than national averages, and it means St. Charles Bend has the lowest mortality rate for heart attack patients of all hospitals in the state of Oregon. Our cardiac rehab program helps patients recover and improve their quality of life, helping patients who have had a heart attack, heart surgery or other cardiac event recover and reduce their risk of further heart problems. Cardiac rehabilitation includes a combination of exercise, education and support.
