The Best Way to Explore Bend? On Two Wheels

Bike Rentals

Since you’re visiting Bike Town USA, you owe it to yourself to spend at least a few hours pedaling on world-class mountain bike trails, exploring road routes winding through jaw-dropping scenery, or taking a carefree ride to the Bend Farmers Market. And if you want to leave your bike at home, try a new set of wheels, or maybe this is your first time sampling a little singletrack, then you’re in all kinds of luck!

Choose from over a dozen bike shops offering bike rentals in Bend, Oregon. Snag a road bike from Sunnyside Sports or Hutch’s and hit the Three Sisters Scenic Bikeway for a tour of Central Oregon, complete with epic views. If mountain biking is more your scene, you can rent your ride from one of several shops like Pine Mountain Sports, Project Bike, or Crow’s Feet – A Mountain Collective. Or get the full meal deal with a bike rental and tour from our friends at Cog Wild.

Want to take a breezy ride through town? Rent a cruiser or try an electric bike rental for a bit of extra oomph going up hills. Got the family in tow? Grab a four-wheel Surrey bike from Wheel Fun Rentals in the Old Mill District and go for a totally unique joyride around town.

And if you think you can’t mountain bike when snow covers the trails, think again! Several local shops rent fat bikes, so you cruise through the snow on two wheels.

Because we love biking so much in Bend, we recommend making reservations ahead of time. Same-day rentals are sometimes possible (knock on wood, cross your fingers), but a bike rental reservation will ensure you don’t miss any time on the trail, road, or leisurely touring around town.
