Dreaming of a white spring break in Bend, Oregon? Check out Springtacular at Mt. Bachelor!

Mt Bachelor

If you’ve got your eye on Bend, Oregon for spring break 2011, odds are good you’re not fantasizing about palm trees and beach volleyball.

You want snow, and you’ve come to the right place if you want to spend your spring break enjoying the most terrain and the highest elevation resort in the Cascades at Mt. Bachelor.

The good folks at Bachelor are braced for the arrival of powder hounds from around the world, and they’ve put together a bunch of Springtacular Deals to welcome you. Cool stuff like discounts at local breweries, restaurants and sports shops, plus plenty of activity on the slopes to last through May 29.

Here are a few highlights:

  • Kids 18 and under get a free Spring Pass when parents purchase their adult Spring Pass for $149 before April 4. Spring passes are good through the end of winter season and include plenty of perks that extend way beyond the slopes.
  • Spring Pass holders get exclusive discounts at local breweries, including Cascade Lakes, Bend Brewing Company, and Silver Moon. Aside from the breweries, 5 Fusion Sushi offers a 10% meal discount for pass holders, while local ski and snowboard shops Powderhouse, Skjersaa’s, and Aspect offer specials on service and gear. There are also family perks for pass holders visiting Sun Mountain Fun Center and Bouncing Off the Walls. Check out the Springtactular listing for details.
  • Mt. Bachelor has a TON of amazing events lined up for spring. So many I’m not even going to try to name them, but you can see a full list here. They’ve got Pine Parties with live music, Suds Cup race league, an Easter egg hunt for kids, a luau, and more. Trust me, there’s something to do up there pretty much every day of the week.

Oh, and best of all, conditions at Mt. Bachelor are perfect for spring skiing and riding, with a massive snowpack thanks to La Nina.

Now go out there and get your snow on.
