On February 14, 2009, Oregon turned 150 years old. For the entire year, we’ll be having a party to celebrate the Oregon Sesquicentennial by featuring Oregon 150 celebration events hosted in Bend, Oregon.

From the High Desert Museum’s Faces of the High Desert Heartland exhibit to stagecoach rides on an old postal route through Central Oregon with the Des Chutes Historical Museum, you’ll experience a truly entertaining and memorable glimpse into the past 150 years of Bend, Oregon.

For more Oregon 150 events, check out the Visit Bend events calendar. You can search by “Oregon 150” for a variety of events focused on the celebration.

Take Care of Oregon Days is one of the largest volunteer efforts in the state’s history. Please visit the SOLV website to learn more about projects in Central Oregon. If you would like to coordinate a project of your own, contact laurel@visitbend.com for more details.
